A Letdown under the SUN

The Sun hop
A week ago I decided to apply for SUN Cellular's postpaid plan 350. That's because of the free 250 text to other networks in which I think is quite practical for me since my siblings and parents are using globe and smart but my wife and I are using sun cellular prepaid then. I chose my preferred number then, as the Sun shop agent allowed me to choose available numbers through their system (ICMS). Afterwards, he put a note that this number was reserved to me with my account and transaction info. By the way my
chosen number was 0922-8MIGS** or 092286447**.

I informed most of my contacts that 0922-8MIGS** is the number that I will use as soon as my postpaid sim will get activated. After 4 hours i think...my sim got activated and then I start sending SMS to my friends and siblings. My brother called me to confirm my number because it's different from the one I gave him earlier. That showed me my disappointment and since then I kept on calling Sun Cellular Hotline for many times. It seems like I am calling PLDT's 171 when I have to wait for a long period of time just to talk to the Customer Representative.

My luck, an operator answered...then I told her about my issue. She replied that it was the Sun Shop Agent's fault because the number I chose was already acquired. Then I said "He showed me from your system (ICMS) that it was available and then he wrote a note that it was reserved under my name. How come it was his fault?". She also said that I might charge Php500 for "change of number" in which it is obvious that its their fault. Then she told me that this will be investigated by their IT team. I told her, "Yes please, create a ticket and log my complain and give me the reference number.

As of this writing, i haven't received any calls from Sun Cellular. Well, this is not a big deal for me but please do your job accurately. I didn't tell them that I am working from a tie-up project with JG Summit who owns Digitel/Sun Cellular. We support their servers and we do 24/7 operations with them in a most ACCURATE way.
